Refund & Cancellation PolicyEffective Date: [September 7, 2025]

At Desert Valley Resort, we value your trust and strive to provide a seamless booking experience. However, we also understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. To ensure clarity and fairness, we have outlined our refund and cancellation terms below. We kindly request all guests to review these policies carefully before making a reservation.

1. Standard Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a full refund, after deducting applicable transaction or processing fees charged by banks/payment gateways.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be treated as last-minute cancellations and are not eligible for any refund.

2. Peak Season & Blackout Dates

During high-demand seasons and festive periods, special policies apply:

  • Bookings falling between 18th October 2025 to 26th October 2025 and 23rd December 2025 to 4th January 2026 are non-refundable.
  • Any cancellation, modification, or no-show during these blackout dates will result in 100% retention of the booking amount.

3. No-Show & Early Departures

  • In the event of a no-show (failure to check in on the scheduled date without prior intimation), the entire booking amount will be charged, and no refund will be initiated.
  • Guests who depart earlier than their confirmed check-out date will also be charged for the full duration of the stay, and no partial refund will be provided.

4. Refund Process

  • If a booking qualifies for a refund under the above terms, the amount will be credited to the original mode of payment within 7–10 working days.
  • Please note that additional time may be required by banks or payment gateways to reflect the refund in your account. Desert Valley Resort shall not be held responsible for such delays.

5. Modifications & Transfers

  • Reservation modifications (such as change of dates) are subject to availability and the discretion of the management. Rate differences, if any, will apply.
  • Bookings are non-transferable to another guest without prior written approval from the resort.

6. Force Majeure

In circumstances beyond our control (such as natural calamities, pandemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events), Desert Valley Resort reserves the right to modify or waive cancellation charges. Such cases will be reviewed individually, and management’s decision shall be final.
